A LITTLE ABOUT ME

My
name is Kim, and I am the founder of Kim's Pet Care. I realized that this
was the career for me in 1998, while working as a veterinary technician.
I hated to see the fear in the animals' eyes as they were brought into a
strange place, and handed over to complete strangers- all the while being
faced with lonely days ahead, caged up, and away from their familiar home.
So the idea occurred to me to start an in-home pet sitting service, so that
the animals would be more comfortable, stress- free, and in their normal,
safe environment. It's hard enough on an animal when their family is away
for an extended period of time, but it's even harder when they don't get
the love, attention, exercise, and TLC that they so need and deserve.
Ever since I was a child, I knew that I wanted
to work with animals. When I was younger, I worked in an animal hospital
as a kennel helper. Then, I attended college in the animal science program,
and graduated with a 3.3 GPA. I worked as a veterinary technician, took
care of my own animals, as well as the ones at school, and that is what
brought me to where I am now..........
