PURPLE FINCH

Purple Finches are fairly common on migration and in winter some years. This male
was at our feeder on November 22, 2007.

This is a female Purple Finch, lacking the raspberry-red color. Taken at Cape May NWR
Woodcock Lane on January 23, 2008.
